2025-26: 32.6 percent increase over 2024-25 salary
There is some wiggle room since a player can sign for between 80 and 120 percent of the wage scale. For example, Anthony Edwards was allotted a little more than $8.1 million after the Minnesota Timberwolves took him with the No. 1 overall pick. He ultimately got $9.8 million for his first year, the maximum allowed.
Suggs told CNBC Make It s Nicolas Vega in June he already has plans for his first big paycheck. I really want to get a nice car, not even for myself, for my mom, he said. She s got an Escalade that she s dreamed of and talked about almost every day. I really want to get that for her. I never could ve gotten here all by myself.

Jordon Scott has limited length, but doesn t limit his athleticism or play strength. The biggest issue with his evaluation is that he never improved during his college career, which raises the question of if he has already maxed out his potential.
Scott, a former freshman All-American, has raw skills to play in the NFL, even at his size, but he will need to begin to take the steps to round out the sharp edges in his technical game to continue cashing checks at the NFL level. He should compete for a roster spot as a rookie, whether he is drafted or not.

Mustafa Johnson is right on the borderline of being able to play NFL-caliber football, with his best role early on in his career being head up on offensive tackles, a role that is seldom played in the NFL now. As an edge defender, his athleticism will work against him, but the same is true on the interior due to his weight.
He has penetration skills, but he is somewhat in between positions at the moment and needs to fully commit to developing into an outside or inside defensive lineman quickly, as he is a situational player at the moment, should he make an NFL roster.

A smaller defensive tackle prospect who measured in at the Oregon pro day at under 290 pounds, Austin Faoliu has the traits of a quality run defender, despite not having the production of a future NFL starter. He projects to being a run-down contributor who may be able to start at either nose tackle, with some added weight down the line, or as a 3-4 defensive end. At the moment, his upper body is more developed than his lower body, which should limit him to a rotational role immediately.
