SAN ANTONIO Hundreds of asylum seekers have been released by federal authorities in downtown San Antonio.
On Friday morning our cameras saw hundreds of asylum-seekers or dropped off by federal authorities at the Greyhound station.
These people tell us are coming from Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti and other countries escaping gangs, violence and political persecution.
“I came because the abuse of the police of Venezuela. You cannot protest because they will detain you and and humiliate us when it comes to the situation about Venezuela and the government we have over there,” Giovanni Gaisedo, a Venezuelan asylum seeker told us in Spanish.
