Fail to Comply with a Direction Charges 6 July
A 32-year-old man has been arrested, charged and refused bail after failing to comply with quarantine and travel directions given to him upon arriving in Western Australia.
The man arrived at Perth Airport on Thursday 1 July 2021 on a flight from New South Wales, and was advised he was being refused entry to Western Australia due to his travel origin. The man was directed to stay in self-quarantine at a specific hotel and to leave Western Australia on the first available flight.
It will be alleged the man failed to remain in the nominated hotel accommodation and failed to leave Western Australia. It will be further alleged when contacted by police officers conducting inquiries into his whereabouts he falsely stated he had left Western Australia and was in Queensland. Police lay charges after South Guildford incident
Regional Investigations Unit detectives have arrested a 26-year-old man after an incident in South Guildford yesterday, 29 April 2021.
It is alleged about 4.20pm, officers approached the man who was sitting in a Ford Territory sedan parked at a shopping centre in Bassendean. It is further alleged as police approached the vehicle accelerated heavily through the car park narrowly missing multiple police vehicles and civilian vehicles.
Police followed the vehicle through Bassendean to Kalamunda Road before they ceased following the vehicle due to the weather. A short time later the vehicle was located with extensive front-end damage after it had hit a limestone fence outside a brick company on Kalamunda Road in South Guildford. The collision caused extensive damage to the fence.

Police charge man with multiple stealing incident
Mirrabooka Detectives have charged a 48-year-old man as a result of their investigation into his activities.
It is alleged the man was involved in burglary incidents across the Cannington, Midland, Joondalup and Mirrabooka Police Districts during March 2021.
The alleged incidents he was involved in are:-
22 March 2021 Steal a vehicle – Cannington;
22 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Alexander Heights;
22 March 2021 Steal TVs from electrical store – Malaga;
27 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Stirling;
29 March 2021 Steal two Drones – Balcatta;
31 March 2021 Steal fuel – Alexander Heights; and
31 March 2021 Steal registration plates – Westminster
The 48-year-old man from Balcatta is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 8 April 2021 charged with:-
