BRYAN, TX â Those closest to Timothy Smith gathered at Antioch Community Church to remember him and his impact.
The Bryan man worked for Chef Tai Lee at Maddenâs and was one of his go-to employees. When Madden s closed in December, Smith happily transferred to Paolo s Italian Kitchen, also owned by Lee.
The two rang in the new year together and were excited for their new journey of life.

ELDRED The annual 5K Sham Walk in Eldred is remembering those who have passed away.
The Sham Walk was started by Amy Jilg, who had breast cancer. The walk had started around 5 to 6 years before she passed.
Bernie Faul, organizer of the walk, said she and Jilg used to participate together in the relay for life breast cancer event called “Party in Pink.”
Faul said they always had a sham walk in Eldred because she said it’s a small town and people like to walk.
Along the way, she met Cris Berry, who is another person the sham walk is remembering.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Family and friends gathered at First United Methodist Church Saturday afternoon to mourn the loss of Richard âDonâ Clements.
A man whoâs life was taken too soon as a result of Tuesday nightâs plane crash.
Clementâs family and closest friends would not only describe him as a loyal, cheerful, a mischievous man, but also, an all around happy person.
âI could see the light of Christ in his life, and that to me says everything about who he was,â Reverend Bares said.
