Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 back in 2020, bringing back the cult-classic action RPG in remastered form. This year, Nintendo Switch owners will get a chance to play it.
This week, THQ Nordic confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on the 16th of March 2021. As you would expect, the package includes the base game and its three DLC expansions – The Teeth of Naros, Legend of Dead Kel and Weapons and Armor bundles.
Interestingly, this isn’t the end for Kingdoms of Amalur either. While we aren’t getting a direct sequel in the immediate future, the remaster will be getting a brand new expansion called ‘Fatesworn’. This new expansion will release later this year for all platforms that Re-Reckoning is available on.

A spruced up version of the game was released in September 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC after THQ secured the IP. Now Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is preparing to make a splash on Nintendo’s handheld console almost a decade after its original release. This version of the game is a fully fledged port that packs in all the core content as well as both expansions – The Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel – as well as other bonus DLC. A completely new expansion, Fatesworn, is due for release later this year.
