After community members, tired, and let’s be honest, frightened of contracting the virus when numbers began rising two weeks ago headed out in large numbers to surrounding communities to get their first dose of the vaccine Six Nations’ COVID-19 emergency group finally got the message and stepped up the shots. For the past two weeks they had been administering the Moderna ,quietly. First at the Iroquois Lodge and the Jay Silverheels centre. Quietly that is until Turtle Island News found out and let the community know that yes the vaccine had arrived, albeit in small numbers but at least the community’s most vulnerable were receiving shots….
