The news that Michael Keaton was returning as Batman in the upcoming DCEU movie Flash finally confirmed that the first big-screen Batman was coming back over 30 years since he debuted.
This was up in the air due to the coronavirus pandemic, as Keaton was unsure about filming at the time. However, Keaton finally decided to come back and now he will join Flash, which also features Ben Affleck’s Batman.
The movie will take on the Flashpoint storyline, making fans wonder if Keaton is Bruce Wayne or if he will portray Thomas Wayne, which is the Batman in the alternate Earth that Flash accidentally created.
Tenet.
Christopher Nolan s (the guy behind The Dark Knight Trilogy) massive science-fiction action-adventure sees a group of secret agents attempting to stop a time-travelling terrorist from putting a stop to existence as we know it.
The movie stars John Michael Washington (who we interviewed about the movie, right here), Kenneth Branagh (same), and Robert Pattison and Elizabeth Debicki (and we also interviewed both of these, too), and features some of the biggest action set-pieces ever put to film, including the already-infamous 747 heist scene.
Perfect viewing for anyone with a big telly and some loud speakers!
Tenet will be available to watch on NOW from Friday, 7 May.
Bautista has previously starred in the Guardians of the Galaxy MCU movies as Drax the Destroyer and has been praised by director James Gunn for what he has brought to the franchise.
In a gushing Twitter thread responding to questions on why Bautista is such a good actor, James wrote: Bc @DaveBautista takes the craft seriously. He s grounded in real emotion & not showy. The difference between Dave and many wrestler-actors is when you look in his eyes on set he s in the place he s supposed to be, not thinking about what he s going to do next.
Bane previously was played by Tom Hardy in Christopher Nolan s concluding Dark Knight Trilogy movie The Dark Knight Rises in which he fought with Christian Bale s Batman.
