Speculation around the location for the next game in the Forza Horizon series appears to be zoning in on one conclusion:
Forza Horizon 5 will be set in Mexico.
Although this is far from confirmed, well-placed sources appear to have given the Mexico location their stamp of approval. WindowsCentral editor Jez Corden lit the initial fires with a non-too-cryptic Tweet about some upcoming Xbox titles:

That was actually Corden’s second Tweet on the subject, having posted “I really want to visit Mexico some day”, with the same car and flag emojis, earlier in the month. That prompted VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb who’s previously suggested that

Forza Horizon 5 will take place in Mexico. After a number of rumors about the new setting, Venture Beat s Jeff Grubb stated the location unequivocally in an appearance on the Iron Lords podcast. Fans of the racing series should still take this with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made by Microsoft, but Grubb can be a very reliable source of information, and he tends to be careful with his words when he isn t totally positive about his sources. Forza Horizon 5 is a highly anticipated title, there’s no doubt about that, and all the speculation that has been swirling around the web lately has certainly fueled all this excitement.

Back in January of this year, reputable Windows Central journalist Jez Corden said that he knows of at “least” two major unlisted Xbox games that will be arriving later this year.
“I know of at least two games, big games, that aren’t on that list that are coming from Xbox in 2021”, Corden said back in January of this year during a podcast.
