Last month we posted a list of the eight NBA players who starred in high school or college or both in the state of Oregon.
This week and throughout the rest of the NBA season, we’ll keep tabs on how they’re faring.
This week we’re adding a list of players with local ties competing in the G League bubble in Orlando, which starts its season Feb. 10. Once competition starts in the bubble, we’ll update you on the local players’ progress every week.

The NBA G League Ignite is a one-of-a-kind development team, consisting mostly of NBA Draft prospects from around the world. The NBA G League Ignite is a one-of-a-kind development team, consisting mostly of NBA Draft prospects from around the world.
Ignite, a recently launched team of elite NBA Draft-eligible players, coached by former NBA player and head coach Brian Shaw, will play in its inaugural season.
What is the 2021 G League season schedule?
The complete 135-game schedule of the 2021 G League season will tip-off on Feb. 10. Each team will play 15 regular-season games between Feb. 10 and Mar. 6.
The new season will tip-off on Feb. 10 with the young Ignite squad taking on veteran Jeremy Lin and the Santa Cruz Warriors on Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN2. Opening night also includes an additional five games including the most recent G League Champion (2019) - the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

The Washington Wizards released Jordan Bell, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic.

Though Bell was released, the Wizards haven’t completely severed ties with him. He was on the Capital City Go-Go roster before getting called up. He will now be with the Erie BayHawks, the Go-Go’s partner team this G-League season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bell, who had previously signed an exhibit 10 contract with the Wizards, returns to the Erie Bayhawks, the G League team that is operated by the Pelicans and that Washington is using as its affiliate for this season. Fred Katz (@FredKatz) January 31, 2021

0On Wednesday evening, the NBA G League dropped the full schedule of games that seventeen G League teams, including the Ignite, will take part in when the 2021 season tips off in the Disney World bubble on February 10th. Over the course of the twenty five day regular season, there will be 135 games taking place, with the action tipping off as early as 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on a lot of those days. One example of that early tip off will occur on opening day as the first game of the season will be the Santa Cruz Warriors squaring off against the G League Ignite in a game that will tip off at 8 AM Pacific Time.
