The focused fundraising effort began March 1 and runs until May 31.
According to Capt. Hunter Wilson, who co-coordinates the effort with 1st Sgt. Erika Vargas, the response so far has been pretty good.
âWeâve had quite a bit of interest across Redstone,â Wilson said. âAll of the unit reps that Iâve talked to have made it a priority to reach out to all of their Soldiers in their formation about AER.â
Instead of placing a monetary goal on this yearâs campaign, the AER co-coordinators decided to set the goal of ensuring 100% of all the Soldiers across the installation were aware of what AER provides and the fundraising campaign.
