This was during a joint operation carried out by Sri Lanka Army, the Special Task Force and the Sri Lanka Police. A group including a 33-year-old individual had visited Adam’s Peak on the 11th of this month. A group of seven, including the individual who went missing, had visited a holiday resort in Ramboda the following day. They had reached the area by travelling through Nuwara Eliya.
