A Brockville police officer faces an assault charge in connection with an incident in the city’s north end last July.
Cst. Jordan Latham has been charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm, the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) said Friday.

The SIU, a civilian agency, is called in when there has been a death, serious injury, or allegations of sexual assault in police-related incidents.
