It don’t come easy  but it s coming. Music legend Ringo Starr s debut in Asbury Park is now scheduled for May 31, 2022, at the city s Paramount Theater. The show, featuring his All-Starr Band, was originally scheduled for June 14, 2020, at the Paramount, but has been postponed twice due to the coronavirus outbreak. The concert will be first for a member of the Beatles in Asbury Park. The Beatles themselves performed once in New Jersey: Aug. 30, 1964, at the then-named Convention Hall in Atlantic City. Both Starr and Paul McCartney have performed solo concerts elsewhere in the state.  Starr will also be returning to the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank on June 10, 2022. That show was originally scheduled for June 7, 2020, and postponed twice.
