Two Hopkinsville teens were injured in an accident Friday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 24-year old Jeni O’Neal of Clarksville was attempting to turn left out of a parking lot near Clinic Drive and said a stopped motorist in the right lane waved her into traffic.
When she drove onto the Boulevard, she collided with a northbound car operated by 17-year old Carly Pyle of Hopkinsville. Pyle and her passenger, 17-year old Tera Adams of Hopkinsville were both taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
O’Neal was not hurt in the crash.

Two Hopkinsville men are facing charges of wanton endangerment following a shots fired incident on Maplelawn Street Thursday evening.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to the 100 block of Maplelawn around 10 p.m. Thursday for reports of shots fired. Investigation reportedly revealed that two neighbors, 36-year old Timothy Freels and 46-year old Jamie Calhoun, had gotten into a dispute that escalated.
The two allegedly exchanged gunfire and Calhoun was struck, and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released. There were reportedly other individuals nearby when the incident occurred, and a residence that a woman was inside of was struck by the gunfire.
