Wolcott, CT - John R. Penhallow, 90, of Wolcott, CT passed away on December 20, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Faye (Klinzmann) Penhallow; his son Mark Penhallow of Wolcott; his daughter, Nancy (Penhallow) McCarthy and her husband, Kevin of Bristol; and his son, Scott Penhallow and his wife, Jennifer (Luddy) Penhallow of Waterbury. John also leaves his four grandchildren, Ryan McCarthy, Sean McCarthy, Emily Penhallow and Molly Penhallow along with a niece and 6 nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Caroline Penhallow; his sister, Louisa Penhallow and his brother, William Penhallow. Subscribe John was born on August 13, 1930 and was raised in Woonsocket, RI. He graduated from University of Rhode Island with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in ROTC and the army as a Second Lieutenant Infantry and was honorably discharged in 1954. John moved to CT to pursue his career where he met and married Faye, his wife of 62 years.
