The Salvation Army reports they raised $138,898.48 through donations.
“We are a little short of our goal,” Major Judy Lowder reported. “We are waiting for a few donations to come.”
Major Lowder added that donations to the campaign were crucial for the Salvation Army to continue their many services throughout the county.
Since arriving in Jamestown, Major Lowder says they’ve established their hygiene program and pet pantry.
She added it was vital they make their goal or they would need to make cuts to their programs for 2021.
Major Lowder added, “The Salvation Army in Stutsman County is grateful for the volunteers, donors and partners that have helped us this Christmas season. With the support of our community we will be able to continue to help our friends in need.”
