The hours for Scenic Sundays have changed to 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the spring and summer seasons, the Parks and Recreation Department announced. Cars are not allowed on the road from Wheeling to the Rim Road-Robinson entrance during those four hours of the morning every Sunday from now through September.

A 48-year-old woman was hiking on a Sugarloaf Mountain trail when she fell, injured her knee and was unable to walk at about 1 p.m. Sunday, El Paso Fire Department spokesman Enrique Dueñas-Aguilar and CBP officials said.
The woman, who called 911, was hiking with at least one other person, Dueñas-Aguilar said.
It took hours for a rescue crew from the Combined Search and Rescue, or ComSAR, team to reach the injured woman, Dueñas-Aguilar said.
