A $17,000 sewer assessment amortized over 30 years amounts to roughly $2.67 a day for the impacted property owner.
The Town of Barnstable is conducting outreach sessions at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. today about a proposed Sewer Assessment ordinance prior to introducing the ordinance to the Town Council in April.

Town Manager Mark Ells reported that Gov. Baker s latest emergency order has been extended until Sunday, Jan. 24 and may be extended further as positive cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in the Commonwealth.
