UH launches Comprehensive Pain Center in Parma

University Hospitals is debuting a Comprehensive Pain Center, building on existing treatment for chronic pain management and expanding offerings.
Offering physical and occupational therapy, behavioral health and addiction services, the new center will be located at UH Parma Medical Center, adding to the hospital s proven interventional pain management program, according to a news release. UH Parma also was one of the first launch sites for Thrive ED, a peer support program linking emergency department patients to substance abuse treatments.
The new multi-disciplinary center adds in the UH Connor Integrative Health Network, offering chiropractic care, lifestyle and integrative health medical consults, massage therapy and guided meditation. It complements UH s approach to pain management and builds on current options to manage chronic pain, such as inject
