The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday said it would ensure that the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) serve out their tenure which expires in December.
It also said that the party would do everything necessary to take over power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023, explaining that it is taking steps to resolve all disputes within the ranks of the PDP and unite it for the attainment of its objective.
There have been reported moves by some PDP governors to remove the national chairman as part of the permutations for the bid for power in 2023.
Secondus, NWC stay on till elective convention- PDP BoT

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Board of Trustees, BoT, Thursday, pledged its loyalty to the party’s National Working Committee NWC, led by Prince Uche Secondus.
This is as the BoT promised to continue to work in harmony with the NWC till the December 2021 national elective convention when new leaders are expected to emerge.
Addressing a press conference at the end of their meeting yesterday, secretary of the BoT and former President of the Senate, Adolphus Wabara said the board will work hand-in-hand with other organs of the party to ensure victory for the PDP in future elections
