Ward-level AL leader in Natore arrested for rape, circulating video Photo: Star Star Online Report Star Online Report A ward-level leader of Awami League was arrested last night on charges of raping a woman in Naldanga upazila of Natore, and circulating a video of the incident through social media.  Ibrahim Dewan (55), AL general secretary of ward-3, and his associate Bakul Sardar (45) were arrested from their respective residences at Banshbhag village, our Natore correspondent reports quoting police. Liton Kumar Saha, superintendent of police of Natore, said Ibrahim s close aide Rezaul Bepari (35) took the victim to Ibrahim on October 3 last year, promising to give her a card meant for distressed people.
