As per NSE, the issue received bids for 1,19,68,560 shares compared with the issue size of 3,99,52,829 shares, meaning a subscription of 30 per cent. The company had on Monday raised Rs 1,732 crore from anchor investors.
The company has already decided to allocate 55,59,664 equity shares to anchor investors at Rs 1,618 apiece, valuing the transaction size to Rs 899.55 crore.
The IPO is being sold in the Rs 86-90 price band. Since the largest franchisee of KFC, Pizza Hut, and Costa Coffee is a loss-making firm, analysts are valuing it on metrics such as EV/Ebitda and EV/sales, and largely have a subscribe rating on the issue.
