A KITTEN with no eyes which was rescued by the RSPCA in his hour of need has been reunited with his brother. The kitten was rescued by RSPCA inspector Krissy Raine the Sunday before Christmas after he was found straying in Peterlee. It is thought the 14-week-old kitten – named Gabriel, after the angel – lost his eyes after having cat flu, leaving him with empty sockets but otherwise healthy. Krissy soon realised her colleague had picked up a stray kitten from the same area just a few weeks earlier and they immediately realised the pair were brothers. The pair were reunited and instantly recognised each other.
The 14-week-old kitten, who has been named Gabriel, lost his eyes after suffering from cat flu, according to inspector Krissy Raine, who found him in Peterlee, County Durham.
