Michael William, from Eccleston, was the victim of a robbery in Liverpool on Wednesday (April 14), which took place near to Liverpool Royal Hospital Road. The 32-year-old was with his friend Charlie Cheetham when the robbers struck at around 11.30am, he says. Michael man was on Erskine Street at the junction with Epworth Street when he was approached by two men, one aged around 18 an d the other around 40. Michael says he was stabbed in an arm during the attack.

Police are investigating a second arson attack in the space of 48 hours in Dingle.
Emergency services rushed to Beaufort Street at 1.40am on Sunday after the front door of a house was deliberately set alight by two men.
This is the second arson attack in recent days in the Dingle area.
The first case of arson was reported on Dingle Lane, at around 8.15am on Friday, February 5.
On that occasion a family home was engulfed in flame s while a mum and children were still inside.
