VINELAND - Sheree Coccaro, a 27-year member of the Vineland Public School District family, died Friday after a battle with COVID-19.
Two days later, the virus claimed her father, Charles J. Scarpa Jr., a retired electrician and Vineland volunteer firefighter.
“I don t think I can say a prayer big enough to cover my cousins who have lost so much this weekend with the comfort and strength they will need to move forward,” wrote Robert Scarpa of Vineland in a Facebook post.
Sheree Coccaro launched her Vineland Public School career in 1993 taking a job as a playground aide. Six years later, she joined the school’s security crew where she made her mark.
