A CHARITY shop has reopened its bridal department and has launched its prom range – with dresses starting from as little as £9.99. Oxfam in Darlington is one of 11 shops nationally to get new bridal gowns donated to it and it has relaunched its department. Previously downstairs with other clothing items, a separate bridal department is now available upstairs, on request. It sells a range of new and second-hand prom and bridesmaid dresses, which start at £9.99, and accessories. Volunteers dressed up to promote the range and had a glitzy photoshoot in the 1920s themed bar at the Majestic Theatre, in Bondgate. Celebrations by Sweet Memories, also based in Bondgate, helped out with dressing the room for the photoshoot.
