A Hindu representative will be among the contributors to the next Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum event The Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum is still successfully bringing people of different faiths and beliefs together despite lockdown - as it celebrates its 40th anniversary year. Next Thursday, January 28 it hosts a Zoom seminar entitled What is the Purpose of Life with Buddhist Robert Harrap, Hindu Naresh Saraswat and Brahma Kumaris member Meera Javed offering their perspective - and a Question and Answer session afterwards. It runs from 7pm until 8.15pm. The Zoom link for this Webinar will be available on the WAMCF web site nearer to the date.
The forum was launched in 1981 to strengthen understanding, mutual respect and trust between the different faiths within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The next meeting on Thursday, January 28 will welcome Buddhist Robert Harrap, Hindu Naresh Saraswat and Brahma Kumaris Meera Javed together to discuss the subject What is the Purpose of Life? Their discussion will be followed with a Question and Answer session. The meeting will run from 7pm to 8.30pm. It will be held on Zoom with the link made available on the WAMCF web site nearer to the date.
