Since that time, he has served as a band director for Penn Hills School District and Indiana Area School District, as well as an assistant principal at Indiana Area Senior High School, principal at Ben Franklin Elementary School, coordinator of instructional technology for Indiana Area School District, and most recently, assistant superintendent of the Indiana Area School District. Rizzo is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Educational Leadership: Instructional Technology through Wilkes University. He earned his Superintendentâs Letter of Eligibility in 2015 from California University of Pennsylvania, his Principal Certification and Master of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Penn State University.

More than 30 countries have submitted hopes so far and for one area school district, it means all students on board. More than 1,000 students from Indiana Area School District (IASD) participated in its Hope Moonshot Day, a district-wide effort to give all students a chance to share their hopes and dreams for the future. Former teacher accused of sexually assaulting teenage student Greg Deffenbaugh A former Indiana County teacher has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a former student. Patrick J. McKee, 60, was charged Thursday, after detectives say he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old while employed for the Indiana Area School District. According to police, McKee met the victim at a youth sports function. Over the course of several months, McKee began to groom the child and invited them back to his home. That’s when the victim says McKee would sexually assault them. The victim is now an adult. The initial complaint was filed with the Indiana Area School District, who alerted police.
