Jobs postings with 5G in the title have doubled between Q4, 2020, and Q1, 2021, a report by data and analytics company GlobalData has revealed. It said more companies are showing interest in 5G technologies, with the government allowing trials and testing. Companies want to integrate 5G technologies into existing network elements and step up research and development to provide customer management solutions.
The constitution of the committee, notwithstanding the technical expertise, will send adverse signals to the stakeholders that the government is simply biding time.
Net enrollments under EPFO in March stood at 11.21 lakh in March, down from 11.28 lakh in February, reflecting the impact on jobs because of partial lockdowns. NEW DELHI: A fresh round of provincial lockdowns to curb the record rise in virus infections is leading to job losses in India, according to the latest employment data by a private research firm.
Unemployment touched 8.6% for the week ending April 11, from 6.7% two weeks ago, showed the data by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt Ltd. The hit is more severe in urban areas where it’s nearing 10% as local media shows images of workers fleeing cities fearing harsher curbs like last year.
