Three Children Seriously Hurt in I-65 Crash on Indy’s South Side Tuesday Morning
INDIANAPOLIS Three children were seriously injured after a crash on I-65 on the south side of Indianapolis Tuesday morning.
Indiana State Police say just after 7:30 a.m., a truck driven by 17-year-old Kya Lasley of Trafalgar was going north near Raymond Street, when she tried to change lanes and side-swiped another vehicle. That caused the pick-up truck to hook right, crash into a guardrail, flip over an overpass and land on a street below.
ISP Sgt. John Perrine says Lasley and a 17-year-old passenger, Megan Murray of Trafalgar, were thrown from the truck.
