Hundreds of thousands of fundraiser dollars have poured in for an Idaho deputy marshal who was reportedly suspended after his TikTok video mocked NBA superstar LeBron James and provoked national debate about law enforcement s use of deadly force.
Bellevue Deputy Marshal Nate Silvester, using his @nateswildn TikTok account, posted a video last week in which he pretended to call the Los Angeles Lakers player to discuss a stabbing incident in progress. The video, which has since been viewed 4 million times, was prompted by James tweeted demand for accountability from police following the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Ma Khia Bryant, who was holding a knife when Columbus, Ohio, officers responded on April 20.

PESHAWAR: Taking notice of the alleged misuse of Covid-19 vaccine in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Takht Bhai, the Health Department on Saturday suspended the services of district health officer, Mardan, and two others and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra posted on his Twitter handler: “After receiving reports of misuse of Covid vaccine in Takht Bhai, district Mardan, we have taken immediate action. DHO Mardan has been relieved of his post with immediate effect. He will be suspended and an inquiry initiated. Two additional individuals have also been suspended.”
Serious irregularities in the process of administering Covid-19 vaccines have been reported in Takht Bhai. Some reports suggested that the actual vaccines were sold in the open market and mere distilled water was used to vaccinate the people, mostly women.
Sources in the corporation told Saturday Monitor yesterday that at least 10 senior managers and all members of the Board of Directors had been affected by the decision

PESHAWAR: The station house officer of Gulbahar Police Station was and head constable were suspended for not taking timely action against a group of armed men who had stormed a locality in Gulbahar No 4 and terrorized citizens, including woman and children, by resorting to heavy firing in bid to demolish by force a portion of the boundary wall.
The residents of Awan Street said their colony had 87 houses and a couple of plots of land along with a boundary wall. They said Awan Street with planned constructions, paved streets and proper sanitation has attracted the attention of people. The property prices have, hence, gone high there. That is why, they said, some greedy elements had acquired land contiguous to the Awan Street outside its boundary wall and wanted to include these lands in the colony to earn more profit. Kenya’s Health Minister suspended flights to and from India for 14 days on Wednesday following an uproar on social media that demanded the East African nation take action on the coronavirus.
Mutahi Kagwe said the National Emergency Response Committee (NERC) held a crisis meeting and decided that because of the catastrophic situation in India and surging COVID-19 infections, measures had to be taken to curb the spread of the virus.
Kagwe said that “given the dire events in India, we resolved to suspend all passenger flights in and out of the country for a period of 14 days. This suspension is to take effect from midnight this coming Saturday.”
