Sheriffs investigate shooting after 49-year-old man dies in Accomack County
Deputies said Brandon J. Beach, 30, is facing a murder charge in connection to a shooting that occurred on Jackson Street in Onancock, VA, where a man died.

ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. A man is in custody after a shooting occurred in Onancock Sunday night.
Sheriff Todd Wessells said the Accomack County Sheriff s Office got a call on Sunday, March 7 around 10:07 p.m. about gunshots fired in the area of Jackson Street.
When deputies arrived, they found 49-year-old Brian Lee Daley, from Onancock, sitting inside a vehicle unresponsive. Officers said he died there.

The Accomack County Sheriff s Office said a suspect has been charged with attempted murder in a stabbing over the weekend.
Deputies responded at about 3:13 a.m. Saturday to a report of a man being stabbed on Second Street in Keller. They arrived to find a 63-year-old man suffering from multiple lacerations.
The victim was taken to Riverside Shore Memorial, according to a news release, and then was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
An investigation resulted in warrants being issued for Antoinette Wanita Satchell of Onancock, who is charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding. Bond was been denied for the 26-year-old who was being held in the Accomack County Jail.
