Gardaí in Kerry have issued a number of fines for road traffic offences and breaches of the Health Act to motorists who congregated in Molls Gap in Killarney last Saturday.
On the night in question, gardaí say they received several reports from local residents about cars congregating in Molls Gap.

Kerry’s biggest vaccine hub has closed for a week, due to a shortage of vaccines.
Staff at the Kerry Sports Academy at the Munster Technological University (MTU) in Tralee were informed of the shutdown on Friday.
Last week, GPs in Killarney, tasked with rolling out vaccines to the over-70s, were told they would not be getting their allocations.

Farmers in Killarney have called on the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), to buy winter fodder for deer driven by hunger on to their farms.
The mayor of Killarney Brendan Cronin said today that the park has to address the issue of deer which have gone “well beyond their usual circumference”, and the anger and frustration of farmers and landowners.
