During an extremely info-packed Skulls Showcase on June 3, a whole bunch of different Warhammer games including brand-new titles and DLC for existing ones were featured. They come from a variety of genres, giving just about every type of Warhammer fan something to get excited about, and we ve got a roundup of the news here. Total War: Warhammer III and the game s new Legendary Lord, Warhammer 40:000: Darktide, and the new Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood, & Teef were among the biggest games shown.
Warhammer 40,000 is a universe of unparalleled scale. It’s a place where genetically modified super soldiers called Space Marines fight in bloody trenches against fearsome aliens. Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is Space Marine XCOM
Another piping hot serving of brutal 41st millennium warfare is on the way. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters has been announced as part of the Warhammer Skulls digital event. It’s an XCOM-like turn-based tactical RPG game, and will star the Grey Knights Space Marine chapter in a battle against the corrupting influence of Chaos.
Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is in development by Frontier Foundry, with a story by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. He’s the author of the Horus Heresy novels and countless other stories set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and this one focuses on the secretive Grey Knights chapter. As the title suggests, they’ll be up against the threat of Chaos daemons – and that’s about all we know so far.
