Reality competition, an unscripted television mainstay, is changing shape.
The genre had its own particular set of hurdles to cross since March of last year. Specifically, those include a higher number of crew and participants, meaning more logistical challenges and increased costs, explains Shawn Witt, co-president of ITV America’s Leftfield Pictures, producer of History’s survival competition series

Before NBC Universal’s upfront presentation on Monday to advertisers, the company announced dozens of new shows for Bravo, E!, USA Network, Oxygen and SYFY. In the press release, 33 new unscripted shows were announced along with 30 shows returning to the suite of channels.
Among the highlights is a new “Below Deck” spinoff, called “Below Deck Adventure,” which will premiere on Bravo early next year, and is set in the “glacial fjords of Norway.” Also on Bravo will be the tentatively titled “Kandi OLG Project,” premiering later this year, which will follow Kandi Burruss’ expanding Atlanta restaurant project. The much-Instagrammed “Summer House Winter Charm,” a mashup of the Bravo shows “Southern Charm” and “Summer House,” will debut on Bravo in the fall.

ABC and SBS titles have been nominated in the prestigious Banff Rockie Awards 2021.
6 titles are nominated across various categories:
Bluey, Love on the Spectrum, Revelation, 100% Wolf, First Day for ABC and
Filthy Rich & Homeless for SBS.
Eureka is again nominated for its US production of
Holey Moley.
