Music makers | News, Sports, Jobs - Weirton Daily Times

Feb 17, 2021 Music students at John Gregg and Stanton elementary schools are making their own music following lessons in their respective classes. Music teachers Kathy Ramsey and Dani Carroll have been working in tandem, and a recent lesson on music instrument families inspired some students to create instruments themselves. Bongo drums, right, were made by kindergarten and second-grade students at John Gregg, while a trumpet, left photo, was invented by a second-grader at Stanton. Contributed
