Inglis 2021 Easter Yearling Sale not to be missed

Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster says the 2021 Easter Yearling Sale is not to be missed and is “confident” it will go ahead as planned in a few weeks’ time. Inglis was forced to hold its famous Easter Sale in 2020 entirely online due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mr Webster told Sky News, "if you can only go to one horse sale ever in your life, you want to go to an Easter sale." “It’s got a tradition of well over a hundred years of producing the best horses in the country and it’s where people congregate from all around the world. “There will be international buyers at this Easter sale - we’ve been able to find a way to get people out. “They’re doing their two-week quarantine and there are some people who just can’t miss it”.

Inglis Classic Yearling Sale punching way above its weight

Buyers can find a bargain at the Classic Yearling Sale that kicks off this weekend and come away with the “incredible success”, Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster says. Speaking to Sky News inside Riverside Stables at Warwick Farm, Mr Webster said the sale was punching way above its weight – pointing out the 2020 Everest winner, Classique Legend, was sold at the event. “You can come buy the whole horse, or you just come and buy a five or 10 per cent share in a horse, and you can have incredible success,” Mr Webster said. Mr Webster said his company was also putting forward $2 million of prize money for the Inglis Millennium and $1 million for the Inglis Sprint on Saturday.
