COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP Sometimes it pays to shop around.
Columbia Township Library Director Briynne McCrea reported at the last township meeting she had switched to Ingram to buy books for the library rather than Amazon.
Ingram Content Group of Tennessee is a source for library books, and is cheaper than Amazon, McCrea said.
Besides better prices, the company has the largest book inventory of about 8 million titles. The company serves libraries and booksellers as well as specialty retailers.
She also reported the library had done 138 curbside pickup services in October.
