Updated: 5:48 PM EDT Apr 10, 2021 Nearly two dozen people are in need of temporary housing after they were displaced by a three-alarm fire in Lawrence, according to fire officials.The fire at the five-unit home at 30 Osgood St. broke out Saturday morning.Lawrence fire officials say several disabled residents had to be rescued and assisted out of the house by firefighters. Before I knew it, there were flames on the side of the house, said Laurie Farinella, one of the residents displaced by the fire. We were all calling 911 and trying to get everyone out of the house, but we have disabled people across the hall from me, so we had to get their wheelchairs out and the kids upstairs and the dog. A person who lives in a neighboring home says they were woken up by two men who were banging on the doors to alert residents to the fire.According to that neighbor, the two men were driving by the house and decided to stop when they saw smoke.Fire officials say there were no injuries
