Experts are concerned about declining mental health outcomes for students and teachers and a rise in demand for councilors and psychiatrists.
Mr Elliott said his organisation, the Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA), was concerned with the extended period of time between children presenting with mental health symptoms and subsequent treatment. As parents head to sporting fields around the country to watch their children participating in sport,
perhaps AFL, rugby league or athletics, they may notice that despite goals or tries being scored, no one is keeping score.
