Thousands of homes in Western Australiaâs Mid West and Gascoyne regions could be destroyed by cyclone Seroja, which is expected to bring dangerous weather conditions to the coast on Sunday.
Authorities have warned the extremely unusual weather event could bring âwidespread devastationâ to the area, which hasnât been built to withstand cyclonic conditions with gusts of up to 150 km/h.
