The Trojans put up their highest scoring total of the season thus far, and their hottest hand was Taylon Mount. Mount, who exited the last game against Albia with a head injury, knocked down seven three-pointers and had 23 points. Pleasantville also got 24 points from Junior Mason Scheve.
Pleasantville’s scoring also went to some of the supplemental pieces in the Trojans lineup, as Colby Sandholdt had ten points. Austin McMillan had seven and Caylor Clark had six in the victory. The Trojans led by as much as 15 in the win.
Pleasantville will be back in action for a girls-boys West Central Conference doubleheader Friday against AC/GC. The doubleheader begins at 6:15 PM and will be broadcast on the KNIA3 stream at kniakrls.com with Alex Koch on the call.
