Traffic deaths continue to rise and safety advocates say that won’t slow down as drivers head into summer. According to AAA, Memorial Day to Labor Day is often called the “100 Deadliest Days” especially for young drivers. AAA says Texas teens lead the nation in deadly summertime crashes. However, adult drivers aren’t much better off. Statewide traffic deaths were up 7 percent in 2020 even though there were fewer people on the roads.
