The team’s maniacal determination to fix their offensive line came at some cost, with the Chiefs looking thinner than usual at the skill positions. They are an injury to Tyreek Hill or Travis Kelce away from not having enough friends for Patrick Mahomes to throw to.
That’s fair
if you don’t consider Byron Pringle to be a legitimate threat as a wide receiver or believe that newly-drafted tight end Noah Gray won’t be able to contribute. Community devastated after third teen dies following crash in Lake Placid
Jordan Bowen reports
LAKE PLACID, Fla. - A tragedy is rocking the small community of Lake Placid after three close friends were killed in a crash early Saturday morning. Among the victims were an avid fisherman, a young bull rider, and a 17-year-old aspiring veterinarian.
Austin Edwards, 21, had a love for hunting and fishing, but it hardly compares to the love he had for his mom. He was a momma s boy. There was never a time he didn t tell me he loved me. There was never a text that he didn t tell me he loved me, said Austin s mom, Samantha Rhymes.

LAKE PLACID, Fla. - Two people are dead and a 17-year-old girl is fighting for her life in the hospital after a deadly crash in Highlands County. It happened early Saturday morning along State Road 70. We do have a very grieving community right now. This news hit really, really hard and close to home to so many, said Betsy Canevari, a friend to one of the victims.
Sunday, more than 500 community members held a vigil for the victims: 18-year-old Cope Brewer, who is a senior at Sebring High School and a bull rider, and 21-year-old Austin Edwards of Sebring. 17-year-old Lindsay Sapp remains in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital. Sapp is a junior at Lake Placid High School who Canevari said is an avid member of the 4H agricultural program.
