Chicago-based Azek Co. will renovate a building in Boise, Idaho, and turn it into its ninth manufacturing facility for Timbertech brand composite decking.
Construction of the plant will begin later this year and is expected to be fully operational in 2022.
Azek s expansion to the West will create 180 jobs over the next three years with 80 positions to be filled in the first hiring blitz.
The facility is a key part of the company s previously announced $180 million plan to increase capacity.
