Report: Siller Foundation pays off house for slain Alabama police officer

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A Staten Island foundation is making an impact across the country by giving back to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will pay off the mortgage for the family of Fred Clardy Jr., an Alabama police officer who died in the line of duty in December of 2019, according to a report by AL.com
Clardy was an army veteran and had 14 years of experience as a police officer with the Huntsville Police Department. He tragically lost his life during a drug trafficking operation.

The family of a Huntsville police officer shot and killed in the line of duty is now mortgage free following a donation from the Tunnel to Towers foundation.
Officer Fred Clardy Jr., 48, was killed in December of 2019 while working on a drug trafficking operation. Clardy, an army veteran and police officer of 14 years was survived by his wife, Ashlee, and five children.
