The Magistrate Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has commenced proceeding into juvenile case in the ongoing Deeper Life School crisis.
The proceedings were held behind closed doors.
The Secretary of the court, who did not mention her name, said since the matter was a juvenile case, nobody would be accepted to participate in the proceedings except the parties involved in the matter.
Recall that the police command in the state had arraigned seven persons, including minors, in connection with the alleged sexual molestation and maltreatment of one Don-Davis Archibong, a student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo two weeks ago.

Deborah Okezie, the mother of the Deeper Life School student, allegedly molested by his seniors at the school, has alleged threats to her life by an ex-presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri.
In a new video, she also slammed those she described as Deeper Life fanatics who have been threatening her since she went public with the abuses her son suffered.

Justice Adenike Akinpelu of the Kwara State High Court on Wednesday convicted a 29-year-old internet fraudster, Ademola Adebukola alias “Holy Ghost” to one-year imprisonment on four counts of cheating and attempt to cheat.
The judge convicted and sentenced the defendant to six months imprisonment on each of the counts after he pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the Ilorin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
“Having pleaded guilty to the charges, you are hereby jailed for six months imprisonment for each of the counts said.
The sentences are however to run concurrently from September 14, 2020.
