Alleged Assault: Deeper Life School Principal, Others Granted N500,000 Bail Each
The magistrate in charge of the court granted all the accused persons bail in the sum of 500,000 each while the two minors among them were released to their parents.

The magistrates’ court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Thursday, granted bail in the sum of N500,000 each to the principal of the Deeper Life High School, Uyo, and four accused persons in the case of the alleged molestation of an 11-year-old Junior Secondary School 1 pupil, Don-Davies Archibong.
According to The PUNCH, the seven accused persons arraigned were Mrs Ndidi Solomon (suspended Principal), Joseph Nseabasi, Akpan Johnson, Egor Wilson, Joseph Ikenna, and two minors, Shalom Ibukun and Ola Feyisetan.

A 71-year-old doctor known as Effiong Udimidue has reportedly been arrested by the Akwa Ibom Police Command after he allegedly secretly took blood samples from the molested student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Don Davis Archibong.
Deborah Okezie, mother of the assaulted boy, in a Facebook video on Wednesday, said the doctor was from the Deeper Life School but pretended to be a medical doctor at St Athanasius Hospital.

Following the alleged sexual abuse of an 11-year-old student of the school in Uyo, the police in Akwa Ibom State are preparing to arraign some officials of the Deeper Life High School.
Some officials of the school were said to have been detained after attending a meeting at the police headquarters, Uyo, summoned by the Commissioner of Police, Andrew Amiengheme.
David Okokon, lawyer to the parents of the boy said to have been sexually abused by two senior students of the Deeper Life High School, told PREMIUM TIMES, Wednesday morning, he would be in court today for the arraignment.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command is in receipt of a petition by one Mrs Deborah Archibong, aged 41yrs, mother of one Don-Davis Iniobong Archibong ‘m’, aged 11yrs, a student of Deeper Life High School, Idoro Road, Uyo, wherein she alleged that her son, Master Don-Davis Iniobong was inhumanly treated, sexually molested and suffered starvation, against one Mrs Ndidi Solomon, aged 45yrs and three (3) others.
The Commissioner of Police, Amiengheme Andrew, has ordered a discreet investigation into the matter and the said investigation has commenced immediately.
The CP, while enjoining all parties involved to exercise restraint pending the outcome of the investigation, has assured the good people of Akwa Ibom State that no stone will be left unturned in unraveling the truth and that the outcome of the investigation will be made known to the general public.
