I ve had a few friends say to me that they are thinking about getting a roommate. It s not their first choice but it s a possibility, especially with rising electricity prices on the horizon.
Also, the number of people in a household is growing, mostly because kids are staying at home longer. So combine roommates and households, and the number of people in the home is increasing for the first time in over a hundred years.

It’s a big job to help keep campus safe through the pandemic.
As part of UW–Madison’s Safer Badgers effort, people are needed to answer questions over phone and email, staff the testing sites, support the app, manage building access and more.

Kacee, DoIT Help Desk Kacee graduated with just 10 classmates from her rural high school in Kiowa, Kansas a wheat farming town of about 1,000 just north of the Oklahoma state line. So when she walked into Camp Randall for the first time, attending her first football game as a freshman, Kacee was awestruck.

Blood is lifesaving and many people need it badly, but due to lockdowns and other challenges brought about by the pandemic, bloodletting activities have been halted. Since the pandemic started, more blood is needed by the public but more blood is coming out in the blood banks than coming in.
Learning about the problem from one of their members in the Junior Chamber International-Ortigas (JCI-Ortigas), Barangay San Antonio, Pasig Chairman Raymond Lising sought the help of NGOs to hold an orderly bloodletting activity in their village.
Apparently, the uncle of their member died because there was no supply available for him while he was being treated in a hospital in Metro Manila.

SALISBURY, Md. – One local fraternity is helping make the community a cleaner and better place.
The Alpha Alpha Delta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega on Salisbury University’s campus recently participated in the Clean Up Salisbury campaign. Members of the organization picked up litter along South Boulevard to clean up the streets and help make the community a better place. We’re told the citywide initiative is coordinated by community member Craig Faunce and the Faunce Foundation.
