In 2020, Aldi sourced €20.7M of locally produced food and drink from Louth based suppliers. Aldi partners with 11 Louth producers including long-term relationships with
Nature’s Best, Alltech Beverages,
East Coast Bakehouse and Haribo Ireland.
Aldi will boost its annual national spend on Irish food and drink by 17.5% in 2021 to €1BN, with further opportunities available to Louth suppliers. Operating four stores in Louth, Aldi employs 122 full time staff, spending €5.2M on wages annually. It is seeking to recruit 60 new employees for its Louth stores this year. Opportunities available include 32 permanent positions.
